The good old Turkish Get up (ridiculous face optional)
Last year I decided to do something proactive about my shoulder health after years of collisions on the rugby pitch, not being able to sleep on my left side and struggling with some gym exercises.
After some research I realised the Turkish Get up could be the answer
To start with I struggled with a couple of reps at 16kg but I persevered and progressed to the point where I can do reps with a 32kg
I'm not saying my shoulders are in perfect health but they are certainly a hell of a lot better.
AND exercise also gives you an overall strength blast, stability training, mobility training and I think you look pretty cool doing it!
One day I will conquer the 40kg beast
