Last night I stumbled across an article from the Economist (which I don't normally read BTW) talking about a recently published report by Rand Europe that suggests that greater physical activity equals greater workforce productivity which leads to faster economic growth.
So good for the country but also good for the individual as it also states that those who exercise more tend to earn 5-10% more on average.
So healthy body = healthy mind = healthier bank balance
Not a bad additional incentive
